Free admission registration on Eventbrite

QT Luong is a photographer and author known for being the first to photograph all 59 US National Parks —in large format. He is featured in the film The National Parks: America's Best Idea, by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan, and has been profiled in National Geographic Explorer, Outdoor Photographer, and Parks magazines.

His photographs are the subject of four books, including the best-selling Treasured Lands, winner of six national book awards. Luong’s limited-edition prints are widely collected, and his on-going traveling exhibition of large prints from all the national parks has shown in museums and galleries nationwide.

QT will talk about his 20 year journey photographing with a 5x7 camera, traveling through caves, up cliffs and in boats, often with a 75 lb pack. Learn about QT’s processes in photography, book and exhibit development, and challenges faced in “getting the right shot”
