Please join us on this heartwarming presentation by Empowerment International Organization, a non-profit organization based in Lyons, Colorado. For more than 10 years, Empowerment International has helped underprivileged and vulnerable Nicaraguan children and youth. They have achieved a record school retention rates of more than 94%! They will share with you their work, experiences, and challenges and how they help change children's education in Nicaragua, the second poorest country in the western hemisphere.

Two of the organization’s Photography Enrichment Program students, Armando and Anielka, will share their experiences and how the organization has helped them. They will also share captivating images of Nicaragua seen from their own eyes.

The event, co-sponsored by the Palo Alto Camera Club and the City of Palo Alto Community Services Department
