“Child Portraits”: An exhibition of eight prints by member H. Dogus Akaydin at Stevenson House

From the artist's statement placard:

"During my stay in US and on my trips back to Turkey I had chances to take portraits of several children. In this body of work, I exhibit some of these portraits. While I closely know some of these children, I do not know others except perhaps for a name.

Reception: I will be discussing about these pictures here [at Stevenson House] on Wed., Mar. 4th 7:30 pm.

About the artist: My name is H. Doğuş (“dowUsh”) Akaydın. I was born and raised in Turkey. I moved to New York City in 2006 for graduate school and then to Bay Area in 2012 for work. You can check my other work at www.flickr.com/akaydin"
