"Finding beauty in the beast"  a photographic evolution of style and technique

Member Michael D. Kern lives in Palo Alto, California. Working both in the studio as well as the field. his photography has been recognized worldwide for his ability to capture the simplistic beauty of his natural subjects. 

Michael calls his photographic enterprise, The Gardens of Eden, an ironic twist to the negativity associated with the snake in the biblical story of Adam and Eve. To Michael, the world is full of potential Gardens of Eden, places where man and nature live in harmony and the beauty of the natural world is appreciated.
