SIG Meeting – Anton Bulyonov

SIG
with Anton Bulyonov

Wednesday, 3 April, 2013

During a hundred years, from the Russian Empire to the Soviet Union, Russian photography was divided from the rest of the world. Even after the fall of USSR it still differs from photography from America, Asia or Western Europe.  The first part of this presentation will feature a retrospective of this photography and historical changes, global influences, and modern trends. The second part of the presentation will feature how environment changes the photographer from the other continents, with some personal examples.

About Anton Bulyonov: I am a Russian semi-professional photographer with some exhibitional experience. Sometimes I define my genre as "observation" photography (but I'm not sure yet.) You can find my photos here http://500px.com/bulyonov.
