The Unseen China

Long-time PACC member Rafael Riquelme will present a program on his photographic work based in two areas of the south of China; one is called Lexiaguo, characterized for the red soils of the mountains and the other is Yuanyang where rice terraces are prevalent.  The population of this part of China are the minority tribes of the Hanis and the Yee.

Bio

Rafael studied architecture in the National University of Mexico (UNAM). He arrived in Palo Alto, CA in 1964 and specialized in Curtain Wall Systems (the exterior of glass and aluminum in high-risers).  He became a member of the Palo Alto Camera Club in 1977 and has previously presented his photographic work to the club.
