All members are invited to a presentation by Vardan Aroustamian in association with his print exhibit (“Life Still, and Not So Still”) currently in the dining room at Stevenson House (an affordable senior living community) on Fri Aug 24 at 7:30pm. The address is 455 E Charleston Road, Palo Alto (MAP).
Entitled “Creativity and Illusion in Photography and Art” he will use illustrations to show the perception of depth in two-dimensional art, and how artists from the 15th century until the present manipulate it and create illusion. None will address his own prints, which speak for themselves from the walls.
The print exhibit runs through October, during dining room hours.
